Why go to Cancun?

Ah…Cancun, Mexico…It’s convenient to visit because it is affordable for most citizens of the United States…well after the plane ticket. From Miami, you can reach Cancun in an hour and a half. From Chicago it takes about four hours. Luckily, Cancun isn’t that far from America so it’s simple to find a good time for a flight. Cancun is getting more and more popular thus driving down the price of tickets.

Cancun is great for tourist because most of the hotels and restaurants are located on a thin strip of land around the lagoon Nichupte. This strip of land forces most of the hotels and restaurants  closely together along the main road: boulevard of Kukulkan. Buses run day and night along Kukulkan and take tourists up and down the strip. Popular attractions like surfing, boating, and other water sports are found at the Nichupte lagoon. Want to swim with dolphins? Isla Mujeres is the place for you. Be sure to visit the Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza, Tulum and Coba.
The best time to go to Cancun occurs in March with June where the average monthly rainfall is clearer and the high temperatures during the day are between the mid-80s and the low-90s Fahrenheit. The least popular time to go take place in September and October during the peak of the Caribbean hurricane season. Because of that season, Cancun sees an average of nine inches of rain per month during those two months. Cancun visitors to find a destination hotel with high-aligned; easy access to purchase, restaurants and nightlife, and a long list of outside activities.
